Walks 4 Business are provided by Cath Lee trading as Peak Walking Adventures, in association with Bob Findlow trading as Grough Stuff Walks.  Both have many years experience of guiding walks, a passion for delivering high quality customer service and a strong business background.  Further details of each can be found below.  
 

Safety is of primary importance on all of our guided walks.  We will provide you with helpful information for your group prior to the event in addition to a safety briefing on the day to ensure that everyone gets maximum enjoyment and benefit without incurring unnecessary risk.  All of our walk leaders hold first aid qualifications.  We hold £5 million of Civil Liability Insurance.

Cath has lived just outside of the Peak District all her life.  She founded Peak Walking Adventures in 2009 to provide guided walking holidays and day walks in the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.
 
She is a qualified Mountain Leader and has many years experience of guiding walks for a local group and for a large national organisation that provides walking holidays across the UK.     
 
Cath's background includes 23 years in banking with NatWest.  During that time she fulfilled a wide range of roles including that of Senior Business Manager, looking after the financial needs of business customers, and Area Small Business Adviser, leading a team of Small Business Advisers.  During those years Cath also had a secondment to Business Link where she advised and mentored start-up businesses.  Following her decision to leave banking, Cath spent 9 years working as a Regional Policy Manager for the Federation of Small Businesses. 
 
Cath is passionate about 'the great outdoors' and has a wealth of local knowledge about the Peak District which she loves to share with her customers.  She firmly believes in the value of outdoor activity experiences to strengthen professional relationships, and to enhance personal motivation and performance.         
Bob Findlow

Owner/Manager of Grough-Stuff Walks

 

Bob lives on top of a hill in the High Peak area of Derbyshire and enjoys an uninterupted view of his favourite mountain, Kinder Scout. Inspired by this beautiful scenery and having a real passion for introducing people to the countryside experience, Bob started Grough-Stuff Walks in 2006.

 
Bob has been a part-time Peak District National Park Ranger since 1991. Based at Hayfield in Derbyshire for much of that time, he has gained extensive knowledge of Kinder Scout and the surrounding high moors of The Dark Peak.
 
As well as being a Peak Park Ranger, he is Mountain Leader trained, qualified in first-aid and experienced in hill navigation.
 
Bob holds a BA Degree in Business Studies and his career in Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Environment has spanned many industries including automotive, aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear and FMCG. Bob is a Chartered Quality Professional and qualified auditor of quality and environmental management systems and recently gained his NEBOSH qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
 
In addition to Ranger duties and daytime work, Bob is also the co-founder, ex-chairman and walk leader for Transpeak Walks, a voluntary guided walks group operating in the Peak District.  So you can be assured that he is not new to the guided walks game!
